Dean Yendall was suspended for careless riding at Warrnambool on Wednesday but will fulfill his five commitments at Flemington this weekend before beginning the penalty.
Yendall pleaded guilty to careless riding aboard High Class Lady in the Showcase 0-68 Hcp (1000m) and was handed an 11 meeting suspension.
He has been outed from midnight Saturday until midnight on Wednesday, May 16 and will miss three metropolitan meetings.
Meanwhile the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear an appeal by jumps jockey Paul Hamblin next Tuesday.
Hamblin has appealed against the decision and severity of a careless riding charge stemming from his effort aboard Phaze Action in the Brierly Steeplechase (3450m) at Warrnambool on Tuesday.
Hamblin was suspended for six jumps and highweight races.
A stay of proceedings was not requested.
